Foundation Libraries [VLSI Libraries, Inc.]

VLSI Libraries designs and sells Foundation Libraries, which are physicallibraries for designers and manufacturers of Custom Integrated Circuits.The libraries can be used with any commercially-available EDA tool, andare delivered in the customer's required format and optimized for theirchosen process. The libraries enable designers to improve the performanceand functionality of their designs and finished products, and to helpbring the finished products to market much earlier.VLSI Libraries concentrates exclusively on designing the highest quality,highest performance physical libraries. Three main Library products areavailable:

Standard Cells. VLSI Libraries designs and sells Standard Cells, which

provide designers with the basic building blocks for their IC designs.

Block Instances. These include RAMs, ROMs, Multipliers, I/O Pads,

Datapath components, and other functional Blocks commonly used in high-performance ICs.

Block Generators. With these generators, customers can produce

multiple variations of a particular type of functional block.
